Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva

Amarone Riserva represents the highest expression of Villa Crine Amarone, produced exclusively in those exceptional vintages when the quality and balance of the grapes make them truly suited to a long evolution.

A rigorous selection of the finest grapes and a long natural drying period are followed by several years of ageing in large oak barrels. Time becomes an essential part of its identity: after ageing in oak, an extended period in the bottle allows the wine to develop remarkable depth, harmony and complexity before release.

Intense and elegant, it reveals a broad, layered bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, sour cherry, spices and cocoa, with delicate balsamic and toasted nuances. On the palate, it is deep, enveloping and persistent, with impressive structure and exceptional ageing potential.

The previous 2003 and 2014 Riserva vintages are sold out. The new 2020 Riserva, currently available for pre-order, will be officially released in October 2027.
